Brief Review
Science fiction is a top-tier genre. I am always interested in seeing how messed up the world will be in the not-so-distant future. I am a huge Black Mirror fan and love robots.
It was unfortunate to have a majority of the movie spoiled for me from watching the trailer alone. The entire first act is set to what is revealed 45 seconds into the trailer. To have a child as a weapon is a nice missed twist. The actual twist is mild and slightly unexplainable when you think about it realistically.
The visuals were solid, and there was some excellent action. There wasn’t enough heart, however. Some thought-provoking subjects were just left to the viewer. I would have enjoyed going deeper.
