I talked about visiting all twelve art installations on the Madison Country Trails.
But, to my surprise, I found a new challenger had entered the arena. A mysterious creature.
There are now six, “Mysterious Creatures,” on the Madison County Trails and one is just a mile away from me.
You need to download their “Atlas” to find out more about the project, but here is a map of their locations.
MCT now even offers suggested loops for travel. They are obviously trying to kill my INTVL territories.
The 31 mile loop seems like the closest to getting all the creatures. But, I actually don’t know where exactly all these creatures are. I also don’t know if the Raccoon I spotted was the last to be placed, or the first. It seemed like October was when they were going to try to officially announce the project, but it is live on their site.
This 37 Mile course is my best effort.
I could shave a few miles off by not staying on the trails the whole time, but I feel that defeats the spirit of the challenge.
It’s time to see if I can find the other five steely creatures.
